SUNDAY RIVER, Maine -
The women's ski team opened up its season with an exhibition at Sunday River in Maine on December 4th and 5th. The meet was an open USSA race with collegiate skiers from across New England competing. There were no team results, but full teams from Colby College, Bates College, and Harvard University were in attendance.
The Eagles posted some impressive individual results for the first race of the season. Freshman Katie Cutting led the lady Eagles with a 6th place finish on Saturday in her first collegiate event. Senior captain Erica Reilly finished 11th followed by sophomore Alex Boit who finished 16th. Senior Danielle Keogh finished up the weekend with another solid 16th place finish on Sunday.
The Boston College women's ski team looks to build off of their early success when their season beings January 7th at the Colby-Sawyer Canival at Mt. Sunapee, Maine.
