West Windsor, N.J. - Boston College rowing sensation Alycia Da'Loia-Moore won the U23 Women's 1x Flight (Race 10a) with a raw time of 8:02.39 on day two of the U.S. Rowing Junior and U23 Trials at Mercer Lake and will compete tomorrow at 7:50 a.m. for the right to represent the United States at the U23 World Championship in Amsterdam from July 20-24.

Da'Loia-Moore, representing the Craftsbury Sculling Center, bested runner-up S. Maddamma of the Steel City Rowing Club by 6.55 seconds - nearly 40 meters - who finished in 8:09.95. Rounding out the heat were A. Couwenhoven of Bachelors Barge Club (8:10.79), A. Doolin of All-American Rowing Camp, LLC A (8:19.06), K. McFetridge of Undine Barge Club (8:23.84) and B. Paret of the All-American Rowing Camp, LLC B (8:48.47).

The Bronx, N.Y. native will compete out of lane three against Couwenhoven (lane 2), Maddamma (lane 4) and Doolin (lane 5) in the final tomorrow. For all of the latest news and results, please visit usrowing.org.
