The Boston College women's rowing team took first place for the second year in a row at the all-freshmen/novice Green Monster Regatta on the Connecticut River in Hanover, N.H. on Saturday afternoon.
The Eagles won the event with a combined time of 34:35 between its two entries as the regatta selects its winner based on the combined time of a school's two boats rather than the time of any single boat.
In the first event for BC's freshmen rowers since joining the team in September, the maroon and gold's "A" entry finished with a time of 17:08 (third overall), and the "B" entry came in with a time of 17:27 (fourth overall).
Race hosts, Dartmouth, came in second with a combined time of 36:39 while Massachusetts (36:45), Vermont (37:17), and MIT (38:35) rounded out the top five.
Boston College concludes its fall racing season with the Foot of the Charles on Saturday, Nov. 10 on the Charles River in Boston, Mass.
