Rowing Wraps Up Competition at Princeton Chase

Jennifer Johnson clocked in as the fastest women's single in the small boats event while BC's entry in the women's double took fourth place as Boston College rowing competed at the Princeton 3-Mile Chase on Lake Carnegie in Princeton, N.J. on Sunday.
Johnson - racing in her second event of the day - finished the women's single event in a time of 19:05.866, and BC's entry in the women's double finished fourth with a time of 18:24.492.
The Boston College A boat in the women's varsity 4+ came in 15th with a time of 16:59.384 with the Boston College B boat following closely with a time of 17:00.920. Also in the women's varsity 4+, BC's C boat finished 36th with a time of 18:05.692, and BC's D boat rounded out the Eagles competitors in the event with a 37th-place finish in 18:21.013. The Princeton A boat won the event in a time of 15:58.845.
In the women's varsity 8+, the Boston College A boat paced the Eagles with a 25th-place finish in a time of 14:54.803. BC's C boat came in 40th with a time of 15:26.183 while BC's B boat concluded the race in 42nd with a time of 15:31.147. Virginia's A entry won the event with a time of 13:41.434.
Head coach Steve Fiske and the Eagles return to action with the Green Monster Regatta in Hanover, N.H. on Nov. 3.
