Rowing Completes Competition at 49th Annual Head of the Charles Regatta

The Boston College women's rowing team completed competition at the 49th annual Head of the Charles Regatta with the Club 4+ boat led by freshman coxswain Annie Tenzinger finishing fifth out of 46 with a time of 18:56.86 on Saturday afternoon.
On Saturday, the Club 8+ A boat led by coxswain Kate Votta and stroke Caroline Henry finished in 10th place with a time of 17:39.68. The all-freshmen B crew led by coxswain Kate O'Kelly-Lynch finished in 19th place with a time of 18:21.80.
The BC Alumni Eight had a strong race and finished 15th in a field of 36.
On Sunday, The Eagles' Championship 8+ boat finished 29th.
The team raced with red bandanas in honor of Welles Crowther and the 9th annual Red Bandanna 5k ran at Boston College on Oct. 19.
Boston College and head coach Steve Fiske return to action with the Green Monster Regatta on Nov. 2 in Hanover N.H.
