An all-BIG EAST runner in the 800 meter, Vendetti has established herself as one of the top runners on the East coast...adds depth and quality to her team in events from the 200 meter through the 800 meter.

Indoor Season

1999-2000: Won the 500 meter (1:17.1) at the New England Challenge Cup prelims...placed first at the New England Challenge Cup Finals in the 400 meter (56.48), good for fourth in the BC all-time record books...took first at the New England Championship in the 400 meter (57.24)...raced the 800 meter (2:12.22) at the New Englands.

Outdoor Season

2000: Won the Dartmouth 400 meter with a time of 56.15, her best time of the season...won the New England Championship in the 400 meter (55.32) ...placed at both the BIG EAST Championship and the ECAC Championship ...ran on the record holding distance medley relay 11:37.70.

At Franklin High

Ran the second fastest time in Massachusetts state history (54.98)...named Massachusetts runner of the year in 1998... named a high school All-American in the 1998 spring season...finished second in the 1998 Outdoor National Scholastic meet (2:09.6)...finished third in the Golden West Invitational, running the 800 meter in 2:10.2...earned MVP honors at the Hartford Invitational in 1999...won the State Championship in the 400 meter and 4x400 meter relay...named Hockomock League all-star...honored as her team's MVP during her senior year...won the Class C Championship in both the 400 meter and 4x400 meter relay...played soccer at Franklin, earning team MVP and Hockomock League all-star in her senior year.

Personal

Born July 23, 1981...enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences...was a Peer Mediator in high school...Jenifer is the fourth of Cindy and Joe Vendetti's five children.
