AS A SENIOR (2006-07)
(Cross Country) Crossed in 24:59.8 at the ACC Championships...finished 18th at the UMass Invitational with a time of 19:57

AS A JUNIOR (2005-06)
(Cross Country) Finished ninth overall at Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 20:06.8...placed 65th at Roy Griak Invitational, crossing in 22:33...finished 16th at Murray Keatinge, crossing in 17:43.9

AS A SOPHOMORE (2004-05)
(Outdoor) At the New England Championship, Smyth finished first for BC in the 800-meter run, cruising to the third-fastest mark of the season for the Eagles with a time of two minutes, 10.79 seconds...ran the fourth leg of the 4x800 relay that took second place at the Big East championship in 2005. The team ran the course in 8:51.70... (Indoor) Captured the New England Championship in the 1,000 in a time of 2:51.86, it was the second fastest time in BC history and the quickest among BC runners during the indoor season...the 4x800 relay finished third behind Georgetown and Notre Dame with a time of 9:09.98...currently sits in fifth place on the all time indoor performance list in the 500 with a time of 1:14.83.

AS A FRESHMAN (2003-04)
(Indoor) Ran lead leg of the 4x800 relay at the Big East Championships...ran a 1:15.44 in the 500 at New England Championships...captured first place in 500 at St. Valentine's Invitational with a time of 1:14.83, the time was fifth-best all-time at BC...(Outdoor) Ran 800 in 2:12.49 at New England Championships, finishing fourth overall...finished eighth in 200 at SCSU Invitational with a time of 26.88... 58th out of 126 in the 400 at Raleigh Relays with a time of 58.95.

Utah state record holder in the 400 and 800...placed fifth at the Arcadia Invitational with a time of 2:13.27 in the 800...earned an 11th in the 400 at the National Scholastic Indoor Championships...lettered in three sports -- soccer, basketball and track -- at Judge Memorial High School...a two-time all-state selection in soccer...led soccer team to a Utah state championship her senior season.

Born October 2, 1984....enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences...Kathleen is the second of Anne and Dan Smyth's three children.
