Lacrosse Announces Fall Schedule

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The Boston College lacrosse team has announced its fall schedule which features three tournaments, a scrimmage against Dartmouth, and its annual Alumni Weekend.
The Eagles kick off the fall season with the Harvard Melting Pot tournament on Sept. 29. While in Cambridge BC will match up against Louisville (8:00 a.m.), Boston University (12:00 p.m.), Brown (2:00 p.m.), and Vermont (5:00 p.m.).
The following weekend, BC is back in action scrimmaging against Dartmouth, who knocked the Eagles out of the NCAA Tournament last spring, on Oct 6. The game will be held at Westwood High School in Westwood, Mass.
Boston College is on the road the weekend of Oct. 12 as the Eagles travel to Annapolis, MD to play in the Naval Academy Tournament. Participating schools include; Navy, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Syracuse, UNC, Colorado, Georgetown, Delaware, San Diego State, and Boston College.
After a weekend off, Boston College is back in action hosting a tournament of its own on Saturday, Oct. 26 on the Newton Campus. The Eagles will face Boston University, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Stony Brook while at home.
The Eagles will wrap up the fall season with their annual Alumni Weekend Nov 1-3.
Head Coach Acacia Walker enters her second year at the helm of BC Lacrosse. Last season Walker and the Eagles finished 12-8 and made an appearance in the NCAA tournament for the second time in school history.
