CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College juniors Mikaela Rix and Covie Stanwick and sophomore Sarah Mannelly have each earned a spot on the 2014 All-ACC Women’s Lacrosse Team, the conference announced on Wednesday.

Rix and Stanwick earned honors the past two seasons. They represent two of four student-athletes to gain a third recognition. Mannelly is a first time honoree.

Rix, a member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, leads the Eagles with 47 goals and 57 draw controls. The Garden City, N.Y., native sits second on the team with 60 points.

Stanwick, also a member of the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, paces the Eagles with 68 points, 32 assists, and 36 goals.

Mannelly, an addition to the Tewaaraton Award Watch List, serves as a primary component in the midfield. The New Canaan, Conn., product has 50 points on 40 goals and 10 assists this season. She currently leads the team in caused turnovers with 13 and most recently inducted herself into the 100-point club.

Rix, Stanwick, and Mannelly return to action on Thursday, April 24 as they take on North Carolina in the first round of the ACC Tournament.
