Women's Lacrosse Wins Season Opener
Doyle and Ryan each score three goals in victory over Harvard.

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Senior Alexandra Doyle and freshman Emily Ryan both scored three goals for Boston College in a season opening win over Harvard, March 11, at Alumni Field.
Doyle opened the scoring for the Eagles', at 28:40 of the first half, netting the first of her three goals on the afternoon. Senior Danielle Wood scored two goals, both in the first half, to help the Eagles' to a 5-4 halftime lead.
In the second stanza, the Eagles added five goals to their halftime lead within the first three minutes of the second half. From there the Crimson fought there way back, scoring five second half goals, but it was too little too late.
With the Crimson trailing by a single goal, the Eagles' retained possesion, and Doyle posted the final goal of the game, with ten seconds left, securing the victory for the Eagles. Freshman Melissa Cole posted 11 saves in her first career game for the Eagles.
