The No. 4 Boston College women's ice hockey team (1-2-0, 1-2-0 Hockey East) responded from a 4-3 defeat on Saturday with a 5-2 victory Sunday over the UNH Wildcats (3-2-0, 1-2-0 Hockey East) for their first win of the season.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. – The No. 6 women’s hockey team (10-3-2, 7-2-1 WHEA) will conclude their pre-holiday schedule at UNH on Wednesday and try to avenge a 4-3 loss at the hands of the Wildcats in Durham earlier this season.

BC extended their record-setting unbeaten break to 11 games with decisive 7-2 and 10-0 victories over Maine last weekend.  Freshmen Haley Skarupa and Dana Trivigno netted their first career hat tricks in those games as the Eagles outscored the Black Bears 17-2 in the two game set.  Skarupa and Trivigno shared Co-Rookie of the Week honors for their performances while Skarupa also added Rookie of the Month honors to her resume for the month of November.

Senior goaltender Corinne Boyles stopped 15 of 17 shots she faced over the weekend to improve to 8-1-0 this season.  Boyles was also named Hockey East Goaltender of the Month for the third time in her career with two shutouts and a 1.34 GAA in November.

The Wildcats (7-10-1, 4-3-1 WHEA) enter the game coming off a 3-1 victory over Northeastern on Sunday. Arielle O’Neill recorded two points including the game-winning goal as the Wildcats avenged their 8-1 loss to Northeastern the day before.

The Eagles will be off for the holidays before returning to action on January 3rd for the start of a three game road trip to Clarkson, St. Lawrence, and Northeastern.
