Women's Hockey Takes Home Monthly and Weekly Honors

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Freshman forward Haley Skarupa and senior goaltender Corinne Boyles garnered monthly honors in an announcement made by the Hockey East on Tuesday. Freshman forward Dana Trivigno also received the first weekly honors of her career for her performance this past weekend.
Skarupa earned Pro-Ambitions Rookie of the Month honors for her eight goal, eight assist performance over eight games in the month of November. The Rockville, Maryland native also received her third weekly honor as she shared Pro-Ambition Co-Rookie of the Week honors with teammate Dana Trivigno. Skarupa's hat trick on Friday and goal on Saturday gave her 10 goals during BC's record-breaking 11 game unbeaten streak.
Trivigno, the Setauket, New York native, recorded her first career hat trick and tallied five points in BC's 10-0 win over Maine on Saturday. In her first season at the Heights, Trivigno has netted eight goals and six assists over the team's first 15 games.
Boyles boasts her third Hockey East Goaltender of the Month honor as she recorded a perfect 5-0-0 record, a 1.34 GAA, and .931 save percentage during the month of November. The Wheaton, Illinois native recorded back-to-back shutouts against Quinnipiac and Yale en route to a Nutmeg Classic championship.
BC will travel up to New Hampshire to face off against the Wildcats on Wednesday in their last game before the holiday break.
