CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior Ryan Anderson (basketball) and graduate student Corinne Boyles (ice hockey) have been named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.

Anderson recorded his 16th career double-double with 28 points and 11 rebounds to lead Boston College past Sacred Heart. Anderson was 8-for-13 from the floor and 12-for-14 from the free throw line. Five off his rebounds came on the offensive glass that led to nine BC points. Anderson ranks second in the ACC in active career double-doubles. This season, he ranks seventh in the ACC in scoring (19.0), eighth in field goal percentage (.513) and ninth in rebounding (7.1).

Boyles stopped 65 of 68 shots (.956 save percentage, 1.51 GAA) in two games against No. 3 Cornell over the weekend. She compiled a 1-1 record in the two-game series and recorded her 60th career win in the second contest, leading BC to its first win over a ranked team this season. Boyles earned Hockey East Defensive Player of the Week for her performance.

The men's basketball team (3-4) is on the road at Purdue and USC this week while the women's ice hockey team (12-4-1, 7-1-0 HE) plays at Harvard on Saturday at 4 p.m.
