CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - For the third week in a row, freshman forward Taylor Wasylk was recognized as the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week after finishing the weekend with four points (three goals and one assist) in two games.

Wasylk's honor marks the first time in program history that a player has won a league award for three consecutive weeks.

On Friday, October 22 Wasylk assisted on Kelli Stack's first goal of the game at Quinnipiac, then pushed BC's lead to 3-1 with an early second period goal. In Sunday's 5-2 home opener against Brown, Wasylk scored twice. Her first goal came at the 25 second mark in the first period, just after a faceoff won by Kelli Stack. She scored again in the third to increase the Eagles' lead to 4-1.

Wasylk (6-6-12) now leads the team's offense and is second in goals and tied for first in assists.

The Eagles play Hockey East rival Connecticut twice this weekend, first away on Saturday, October 30 at 1:00 p.m., then again at home on Sunday, October 31 at 1:00 p.m. as well.
