Gaudreau, Wasylk Named Eagles of the Week

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Junior Johnny Gaudreau (men's hockey) and senior Taylor Wasylk (women's ice hockey) were named Eagles of the Week for their performances last week.

Gaudreau recorded a goal and two assists in the Eagles' 9-2 win over No. 2 Wisconsin on Jerry York Night last Friday. It was his second consecutive game with three points and he eclipsed the 100-point mark for his career. Gaudreau leads BC with five assists and seven points, and is tied for the team lead with two goals.

Wasylk registered two goals and two assists in three games last week. She scored the game-winning, short-handed goal in a 4-3 victory over Yale and had a goal and an assist in a 7-2 win over Dartmouth. Wasylk was named Hockey East Player of the Week.

The No. 5 men's hockey team (2-1-0, 0-0-0 HE) is at No. 1 Minnesota this weekend for a pair of games on Friday and Sunday. The No. 4 women's ice hockey team (5-1-0, 1-1-0 HE) plays at Syracuse on Friday night.
