Women's Hockey Olympians Return to BC

Alex Carpenter ('16), Molly Schaus ('11) and Kelli Stack ('11) of the 2014 silver medal U.S. Olympic Women's Hockey Team will be available to fans for autographs prior to the Boston College - Notre Dame men's hockey game on Saturday, March 1. The three Olympians will be in Power Gym from 3:00-3:50 p.m.
Fans will be given a commemorative autograph card to have signed by BC's three Olympians.
The Olympic trio will also make an appearance on the ice. Carpenter, Schaus and Stack will be honored during the first period of Saturday's game.
Carpenter (four goals, one assist) and Stack (one goal, four assists) each had five points in five Olympic games, while Schaus made ten saves en route to a shutout victory over Switzerland. Stack and Schuas each earned their second Olympic medal after taking silver at the 2010 games in Vancouver. Carpenter secured her first medal in her first Olympic appearance in Sochi.
Stack set several records in her time at The Heights, and ranks first at BC in career points (209), assists (111), game winning goals (22), and plus-minus rating (+112). Schaus holds virtually every goaltending record at Boston College, including saves (3,428), shutouts (21), wins (80), and goals against average (1.81). Carpenter has already scored 109 career points through her first two years at BC (53-56-109), and scored 70 points last season, the most ever by a BC sophomore.
Game time for Boston College vs. Notre Dame is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
