No. 4 WIH Concludes Regular Season with 4-0 Victory over Vermont
Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Freshmen Alex Carpenter (2g, 1a) and Kate Leary (1g, 2a) each recorded a career-high three points as the fourth-ranked Boston College women's ice hockey team completed a weekend sweep over Vermont with a 4-0 win on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink.

Chestnut Hill, Mass. - The #3 women's hockey team (14-3-2, 9-2-1 WHEA) will return home this weekend for pivotal games against Hockey East foe Vermont on Saturday and #4 Cornell on Sunday.  Face offs for both games are at 2 p.m.

BC extended their record-setting unbeaten streak to 15-games with a 6-2 win at Northeastern on Wednesday and are currently in the midst of a 10-game winning streak dating back to Nov. 16.  Six Eagles recorded two-point games against Northeastern including sophomore forward Kate Leary, who's two goals led the way for BC.

Corinne Boyles extended her personal winning streak to 12-games and boasts a 1.56 goals against average and .933 save percentage during her run.

The Catamounts enter the game coming off a 4-2 loss to Dartmouth on Wednesday.  Vermont is 6-11-2 in head coach Jim Plumer's first season at the helm in Burlington and have gotten solid play in net from junior goaltender Roxanne Douville.  The Beloeil, Quebec native boasts a .911 save percentage in 15 games played this season.

#4 Cornell (10-3-0, 8-2-0 ECAC) plays its first game since December 1st against Northeastern on Saturday before traveling to Kelley Rink to face off against the Eagles on Sunday.  This will mark the first meeting between the two teams since December 1, 2002, a 4-1 BC win.  The Big Red is led by junior forward Brianne Jenner (9-10-19) and in goal by Lauren Slebodnick (7-3-0, 1.77 GAA, .924 save %).

BC will continue their run against top-10 opponents next weekend when they travel to Erie, Pa., to take on #7 Mercyhurst on Friday and Saturday.
