A late third period scoring surge earned the Boston College women's hockey team a 3-1 victory at New Hampshire for the Eagles' 10th win this season.

BC improves to 10-2-4, 6-1-2 in Hockey East conference play, while New Hampshire falls to 8-7-0 and 2-5-0 in Hockey East.

After the Wildcats struck first to take a 1-0 lead 43 seconds into second period action, the Eagles were unable to respond in the second period and well into the third. With the clock ticking down, BC used the last three minutes of the game to its advantage to blitz New Hampshire's defense and score back-to-back-to-back goals.

Kelli Stack scored her first at 17:12 in the final frame, with an assist from Meagan Mangene. Forty-six seconds later at 17:58 Stack scored again to take a 2-1 lead over the Wildcats, this time assisted by Danielle Welch.

Then with five seconds left in the contest, Mary Restuccia added a final tally from Katelyn Kurth to finish the game ahead 3-1.

BC outshot New Hampshire 40-13, with an impressive 23 in the third period alone.

Molly Schaus turned away 12 shots, including a crucial five in the third to preserve a win.

The Eagles will host Harvard at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 5 before taking a break until December 31.

Game Notes: Kelli Stack has scored two goals per game in the last two games...she was awarded the First Star... Mary Restuccia was awarded the Second Star... Meagan Mangene scored three assists in two games this week... BC earned two more league points for a total of 14.
