BOSTON, Mass. - The Boston College women's ice hockey team defeated University of Windsor, Ontario 3-0 in an exhibition game on Friday night, hosted by Boston University.

The Eagles featured three different goal scorers in the win: sophomore Ashley Motherwell, newcomer Danielle Doherty, and junior Mary Restuccia.

Boston College will open the regular season on Friday, October 8 on the road at Colgate at 7:00 p.m. The Eagles' first home game will be a 2:30 p.m. contest against Brown on Sunday, October 24.
