The first-ranked Eagles look to keep their undefeated status in their third ranked contest of the season
AS A SOPHOMORE (2014-15)
Played in 38 games … scored 11 goals and adding 11 assists for 22 points … posted a +22 plus/minus rating … added two game-winning goals: the second goal in the 2-1 win St. Lawrence (Oct. 10) and in the team’s 8-1 win at Maine (Dec. 10) … scored a point in 15 games, including six multiple point games … had one goal and two assists in the season opening 10-2 victory over Syracuse (Oct. 4) … scored two goals in a 6-1 victory at Northeastern (Nov. 8) … tallied two goals in a victory against New Hampshire (Nov. 15), one of which was her lone power-play strike on the year … recorded two assists against Northeastern (Jan. 11) …registered one goal and one assist in each of back-to-back Hockey East quarterfinal matches against Providence (Feb. 27, Feb. 28), and was a +5 in the series … scored one goal in the Eagles’ 5-1 win over Clarkson in the NCAA Quarterfinals (March 14).
AS A FRESHMAN (2013-14)
Played in all 37 games ... tallied 26 points (11 goals, 15 assists) ... had a +11 plus/minus rating ... tallied three power play goals and three game-winning goals ... tallied eight multiple-point games ... notched the game-winning goal against Maine (Oct. 6) in her collegiate debut ... scored two goals against Connecticut (Nov. 23) ... recorded a season-high four points (two goals, two assists) against New Hampshire (Feb. 28) ... assisted on the Eagles’ lone goal in the NCAA quarterfinal game against Clarkson (March 15), and later earned Hockey East player of the week honors (March 17).
Captain of Canada’s gold-medal winning team at the 2013 IIHF U18 World Championships … a five-year standout at Oakville, Ontario’s Appleby College and captain of team in 2012-13 ... captain of Mississauga Jr. Chiefs (2013)... national bronze medalist with Team Ontario Red... invited to Team Canada U-22 strength and conditioning camp.
Daughter of Elio and Anna Capizzano... has a younger brother, Justin ... currently enrolled in the Lynch School of Education as an applied psychology and human development major.
