Rio Verde, Ariz. - Junior Kori Goulet (74-74) and freshman Alison Walshe (77-71) each fired a four-over-par 148 to tie for third overall as Boston College took second place at this weekend's Rio Verde Invitational. The event was held at the par-72 Quail Run course at Rio Verde Country Club.

The Eagles finished with a score of 607, matching their season-low 36-hole score and just three shots behind champion Kent State. Gabby Wedding of Kent State was the individual medalist with a 71-74-145. Arkansas-Little Rock also totaled 607, but BC won the tiebreaker by virtue of Moira O'Connell's second-round score of 80. Jessica Steward shot a 77-78-155 to tie for 22nd overall and O'Connell's 77-80-157 was good for 31st in the field of 105 players. Rounding out the scorers for BC was Elizabeth Friel, who totaled 161 (82-79) to finish in a tie for 50th.
