Chestnut Hill, Mass. - Boston College junior forward Chapin Duke and North Carolina sophomore forward Charlotte Craddock have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Co-Players of the Week, announced Tuesday by the conference office.
Duke scored the game-winning goal for the Eagles (10-8, 2-3 ACC) to give them their second ACC win as they defeated Wake Forest, 2-1, on Friday, Oct. 26. On the road at No. 9 Old Dominion on Friday, she scored the opening goal and then assisted on the game winner as the Tar Heels (18-1, 5-0 ACC) downed the Monarchs, 3-1. She scored her third hat trick of the season on Sunday in a 6-1 win over Radford.
The Eagles will take on Wake Forest (8-10, 1-4 ACC) on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 1 p.m. in the first round of the ACC Tournament, hosted by the Tar Heels.
