Fitzgerald's Three Goals Lead BC Over Rhode Island
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Senior back Marion Fitzgerald (Little Silver, N.J.) scored a career-high three goals as the Boston College field hockey team defeated the University of Rhode Island, 5-0, at Alumni Stadium.
Fitzgerald, who scored all of her goals in the first half, entered the game with just four goals in 70 career games. Junior back Anne Marie Ambros (Bridgeton, N.J.) added a career-high four assists in the victory.
Boston College improves to 7-4 while Rhode Island remains winless at 0-13.

goal and one assist, Durko continues to lead the team in
scoring with 17 points (7 goals, 3 assists)... Fitzgerald now
has five goals on the season... The Eagles will host Duke
University (6-4, #12 in the nation) on Saturday at 1 p.m.
