Boston College is coming off an 80-43 victory over Vermont on December 20. The Eagles improved to 6-4 with the win. BC went 3-1 against teams in New England to open the season. The Eagles earned wins over Holy Cross, New Hampshire and Vermont. The only loss was the season opener vs. Boston University.
Sunday's game at Florida State is the start of the ACC conference play as well as a two-game road trip for BC. After today's game, BC will head to Norfolk, Virginia to play Hampton on Wed., Jan. 2.
BC VS. FSU
Boston College and Florida State have played nine times with the Seminoles leading the series,
8-1. Last season Boston College lost to FSU, 68-59, at Conte Forum on January 19. BC was led by Kristen Doherty with 17 points and nine boards, while Tessah Holt added 16 points.
The first time BC and Florida State played was on Feb. 26, 2006. FSU won the game, 71-60. BC was led by Brooke Queenan with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
The Eagles only win over FSU came in the 2010 ACC Tournament. BC earned a 67-60 victory behind 14 points from Stefanie Murphy and 13 from Jasmine Gill.

BC is 2-1 in the last three games with a win over Rutgers and Vermont but a loss to Arizona State.
