Boston College is now 3-4 on the season. The Eagles returned from the Cancun Challenge in Cancun, Mexico on Sunday evening. The Eagles went 1-2 at the tournament. Boston College will head to Wisconsin to play the Badger on Thursday, Dec. 5 at 8 p.m. (ET) in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

• BC opened the tournament with a 75-54 victory over North Carolina-Wilmington. Senior Kristen Doherty had 13 points, while junior Kat Cooper added a career-high 12 points and freshman Kelly Hughes chipped in with 11 points.

• The second game, BC lost to Big Ten opponent, Iowa, 78-68. At the half, Iowa led by two points. With just under eight minutes to play, the two teams were tied at 55-55. Four straight foul shots gave Iowa the lead for good. BC cut it to one point with less than 5 minutes to play on a layup by Doherty but Iowa would then hit two consecutive three-pointers. Doherty led BC with 16 points and four assists, while Hughes added 18 points.

• The final game in the tournament, Boston College dropped to USC, 79-52. The Eagles were never in this game. USC hit 6-of-9 three's in the first half and BC was down, 34-18 at the half. Doherty and Katie Zenevitch led BC with 12 points apiece.

• In the last three games, Boston College is shooting 45 percent from the floor and 33.9 percent from the three-point arc. BC did win the battle of the boards, 107-99, at the Cancun Challenge.

• Boston College opened the season against No. 3/3 Stanford on Nov. 9. It marked the second time in program history that the Eagles opened the season against a Top 10 team. In 1996-97, BC lost to 5th ranked UConn at the FleetCenter in Boston.

BC VS. WISCONSIN

• This will be the third meeting between BC and Wisconsin in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.

• The two teams first met in 2003. BC defeated Wisconsin, 76-60, at Conte Forum on Dec. 30, 2003. Jessalyn Deveny had 26 points, while Amber Jacobs chipped in 21 points. Deveny was just inducted into the BC Hall of Fame in October, 2013. Jacobs was inducted in 2011.

• The Eagles and the Badgers second meeting took place in the 2010 ACC-Big Ten Challenge. Wisconsin defeated Boston College, 58-50, at the Kohl Center in Wisconsin. Shayra Brown had 11 points while Kristen Doherty added eight points and seven rebounds.

The Eagles (as of Tuesday, Dec. 3), was second in the ACC in 3-PT FG percentage (42.9%) behind Duke (43.6%). And third in the ACC in three-pointers made (48), 8.0 three's made per game.

Kristen Doherty has led the team in scoring in four of seven games, while junior Lauren Engeln has led the team in assists in three games.

• Three players - Kristen Doherty, Kelly Hughes and Kat Cooper - have led the team on the boards in two games apiece.
