This will be your second season on the court with BC. What are your goals?
My goals for this season are to be a leader and use my experience to make this the best season yet. To have great team camaraderie this is a very important component to the success of the team and to work towards a winning record.
Describe your game, your style of play. Can you assess your strengths and areas to work on?
My game style is to push the ball up the court and to create for my teammates. I like to get to the hop by changing pace and look for the open jump shot. Some of my areas to improve on would be knocking down the open three-point shot and work on my defensive game.
What do you like most about living on the east coast?
I love the cultural differences between the east and west coast but my favorite is when there are big snowstorms.
Besides your family and friends, what do you miss most about California?
I would say I miss the authentic Mexican food and the beaches.
What do you love about Boston College?
I love that the school itself, it's academically challenging but also has so much support for all of the sports programs here at BC. The campus is beautiful it reminds me of Harry Potter.
Where is your favorite hangout on campus between class and practice and why?
My favorite hangout on campus would have to be the Rat (dining hall) on the middle of campus. It's very chill and just relaxing to hang out there during the day.
What other interests or hobbies do you have?
I love to travel both in the U.S and other countries around the world. I love shopping and I really enjoy working out. My new hobby is playing racquetball!
You are known for wearing bright colors (some of your teammates would say you struggle matching on a daily basis), how would you describe your fashion style?
I just love to throw on whatever it is and make it work. Bright colors and not matching is my west coast style fersure (translation: for sure).
What music do you listen to on game day?
It all depends on what new song is usually out at the time.
Last year your family went to Italy, did you go anywhere this summer, where and what was one of the highlights?
When I was home in May, I took my first camping trip with my two best friends. We went to Kernville and it was such a neat experience and something I would love to do again.
What will be your plans be after you graduate?
I would like to spend the summer and backpack through Europe and then find a rewarding career that would keep me involved in the sports industry.
