The Boston College women's basketball team will compete in the 2013 Cancun Challenge, which will be played at the Aventura Palace Resort in Riviera Maya, Mexico.

The Cancun Challenge is set for November 28, 29 and 30.

Boston College is one of eight teams in the tournament. The Eagles will play in the Mayan Tournament and open up against UNC Wilmington. BC will play Iowa in the second game of the tournament followed by a final against USC. The Riviera Tournament bracket features Arizona State, Illinois, North Carolina and Arkansas State.

The Eagles last played in Cancun, Mexico during the 2008-09 season. The Eagles were undefeated in the tournament as they upset No. 22 ranked TCU, 77-68, in the first game. BC's second win came against James Madison, 71-63.

In the 2012-13 season, Boston College played in a Thanksgiving Tournament in Seattle, Washington. The Eagles went 1-1 in the tournament with a win over Portland and a loss to Sacred Heart. In the 2010-11 season, BC played in the Junkanoo Classic, in the Grand Bahamas. The Eagles defeated Seton Hall and Sacred Heart to win the tournament.
