The Boston College women's basketball team will host Clemson on Sunday, Feb. 24 at 1 p.m. The Eagles are coming off a loss to No. 8 Maryland on Thursday night. BC was led by junior guard Kristen Doherty with 18 points while Katie Zenevitch added 11 points. Boston College and Clemson played earlier in the season when the Eagles defeated the Tigers, 66-43. It was the team's first ACC road win. Kristen Doherty and Katie Zenevitch had 18 points apiece in the win.


Any fan coming to the game on Sunday can get in free if you wear pink. The Eagles have designated the game vs. Clemson as the Play4Kay Game. The team will wear pink Under Armour sneakers as well as black t-shirts with the Play4Kay logo on the chest. There is also a No. 15 on the sleeve in honor of former BC guard Clare Droesch who is currently being treated for cancer. The Eagles will give away a number of BC Super Fans Pink t-shirts, donated by St. Elisabeth's Hospital. The shirts will also be sold in the BC Bookstore with a percentage of the proceeds going to CrushCancer4Clare Fund.

• Since ACC play started, Kristen Doherty has led BC in scoring with a 13.5 ppg. She is also second in rebounding at 5.9 boards a game.

• BC is 20th in country in the free throw percentage at 81.8%.

Katie Zenevitch is 29th in the country and 2nd in the ACC in free throw percentage (85.9%).

Tiffany Ruffin earned her first start of the season vs. Miami last Thursday.

Kerri Shields reached the 1,000 point plateau on a second half three-pointer vs. Miami on Thursday. She now has 236 three's, just two away from becoming the all-time leader in the women's program.

Nicole Boudreau is second in among all ACC freshmen in scoring (11.2). She leads all ACC freshman in minutes played (35.0) and three-pointers (56).
