Eagles Take Consolation Game of Corestates Hawk Classic
PHILADELPHIA, Pa.--Four players scored in double figures to lead Boston College to a 58-38 victory over Yale in the consolation game.
The Eagles led the Bulldogs, 32-19, at halftime, and Steele scored nine points in the second half to secure the win for Boston College. Steele finished with 15 points and five rebounds. Paula Bacso scored 13 points, Bouchard netted 11 points, and Aimee McGuire added 10 points for the Eagles.
Cal Bouchard earned Corestates Hawk Classic All-Tournament honors after scoring 31 points and recording nine assists and five steals in two games. The sophomore guard led Boston College in scoring against Alabama, netting 20 points, including three three-point field goals, in the overtime loss. Bouchard scored 11 points and added five assists and three steals in the consolation against Yale.
