In May 2011, Timothy Eatman joined the Boston College staff. Eatman arrived at the Heights after four seasons as the Associate Head Coach at the University of Arkansas.
Eatman arrives at BC with a reputation as a defensive wiz. He was the The defensive coordinator for the Razorbacks, which set a UA record for least points allowed in a SEC game -- a mere 42 points to Miss. State. Arkansas just missed breaking the season low for a 14-game season, allowing league opponents only 978 points for the year under his direction.
Prior to Arkansas, Eatman was an assistant coach at the University of Louisville, where he handled defense and recruiting duties.
In 2010 Eatman was the head coach for the Jamaican Senior Women's Team. The team got by Trinidad & Tobago to qualify for the 2010 FIBA-Americas Championship for Women and the Pan-American Games.
He has also served as a member of the programs planning committee of the Black Coaches Association in 2008 and is a participant in the BCA's ACE Program for Women's Basketball Coaches.
A 1988 graduate of Talladega College with a bachelor's degree in chemistry, Eatman recently completed his Master of Sacred Literature in Christian Education from Louisville Bible College.
Eatman and his wife, Crystel, have one son, Tyler.
