Serafini Leads MXC, Earns All-East Honors at IC4A Championship The junior closed out the season with a 22nd place finish

results Bronx, N.Y. – Junior Louis Serafini the Boston College men’s cross country team with a 22nd place in 25:40 at the 103rd annual IC4A Cross Country Championship in Van Cortlandt Park on Saturday morning. The Niskayuna, N.Y., earned his first All-East accolade as the Eagles finished 13th with 273 team points.
Princeton’s Joe Stilin captured the individual title, running 24:47 over the five kilometer course. The Tigers’ front five finished in the top 16 to claim the team crown on 50 points, topping Albany (121) and La Salle (145).
Serafini’s finish marked the second time this season he was the front-runner for the Eagles. Classmate Jordan Hamm was the second BC competitor to hit the tape, coming in at 26:04 for 53rd overall.
Freshman Richard Lucas and sophomore Anthony Bellitti came in five seconds later in tandem, being tagged as No. 64 and 65, respectively. Shortly after, third-year James Glover wrapped up the scoring with a 26:15 in 73rd in the field of 154.
