MXC Takes 18th at Northeast Regional Championships

BRONX, N.Y. –The Boston College men’s cross country team finished 18th out of 37 teams at the NCAA Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships on Friday afternoon. The Eagles finished with a team score of 535.

Junior Richard Lucas led the team, finishing 75th out of 255 total runners with a time of 31:55. Freshmen Kevin Sullivan and James Zingarini ran as a tandem and finished back-to-back at times of 32:18 and 32:19, respectively. Freshman Tyler Hanson (32:34) and junior Brian Wolff (32:49) rounded out the top five for the Eagles.

Syracuse won the Regional Championships with a team score of 57, placing five runners in the top 21.

Boston College will be back in action on Saturday, Nov. 23 for the ICAAAA Championships in Bronx, N.Y.
