MXC Competes at ACC Championship

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – The Boston College men’s cross country team finished 13th at the ACC Championship on Friday morning. The Eagles posted a team score of 382 at the 8K course in Beeson Park.
Freshman Kevin Sullivan continued his successful rookie campaign and took the top spot on the team, crossing the line at 25:45. Junior Brian Wolff finished second for BC, hitting the tape at 26:11. Senior Anthony Bellitti finished just 2 seconds behind, taking third for BC with a time of 26:13. Joseph McConaughy (26:20) and Richard Lucas (26:25) rounded out the top five for the team.
Syracuse won the championship in its first season in the ACC with a team score of 64.
Boston College returns to action Nov. 15 for the NCAA District 1 Northeast Regional Qualifier in Bronx, N.Y.
