AS A JUNIOR (2006-07) Finished sixth at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 31:36.8 at the 10k event; qualified for NCAA National Championship with performance...crossed in 33:30.7 in the 10k NCAA National Championship event...earned All-ACC honors after finishing 12th at the conference championships with a time of 24:41.7...placed 32nd at the Pre-National Meet with a time of 24:10.2...finished third at the Boston College Invitational, crossing in 24:32...placed eighth at the Iona Invitational with a time of 24:53.9

AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06) Led the Eagles and placed ninth overall at the New England Championships with a time of 25:25...finished eighteenth overall at the ACC Championship, crossing at 24:29.1...placed 35th overall at the NCAA Northeast Regional with a time of 31:14.8...finished first among the Eagles at the Roy Griak Invitational with a time of 25:48 and placed 89th overall...placed 20th at the Murray Keatinge Invitational, crossing at 24:40.2

AS A FRESHMAN (2004-05) Finished 49th overall at the Big East Championship with a time of 25 minutes, 28 seconds...at the New England Championships finished 37th with a time of 25:44... started off the season at the Iona Meet of Champions, placing 62nd in 26:44.5.

BEFORE BC Was the New Jersey Indoor Parochial State Champion in the 800 and placed third in the 800 at the New Jersey Indoor Meet of Champions...personal best in the 800 is 1:55.6 and 4:18.6 in the mile.

PERSONAL Born February 7, 1986...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences as an economics major...Patrick is the oldest of Linda and Pat Mellea's two children.
