Dave enters his second year as an assistant with the men's cross country program at Boston College.

AS A JUNIOR (2007)
Competed at the NCAA New England Regional Championship, marking a time of 31:58.80 for the 10k course ... ran a 25:58.4 at the ACC Championships, fourth-fastest on the team ... placed within the top-50 overall out of over 200 runners at the NEICAAA Championship, clocking a 26:04 in the 8k event ... ran the BC Invite 8k course in 25:26, placing 19th overall ... had the team's second-fastest time of 27:28 at the tri-race with Providence and New Hampshire.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2006)
Placed 51st at the ACC Championships with a time of 26:10.7 ... was fourth on the team at the NCAA Northeast Regionals, crossing in at 34:12.9 ... finished the Pre-National Meet in 25:45.7 ... placed 10th at the Boston College Invitational with a time of 25:10 ... crossed the line in 25:51.9 at the Iona Meet of Champions.

AS A FRESHMAN (2005)
Placed 45th in first collegiate race at Dartmouth Invitational with a time of 27:04 ... finished 47th with a time of 25:52.9 at the Murray Keatinge Invitational ... crossed in at 25:49.4 for 70th place at the ACC Championship ... competed at NCAA Northeast Regional Championship, placing 121st with a time of 33:16.1.

BEFORE BC
Member of the Essex Junction 9VT team that won four state cross country championships, three indoor and one outdoor championships ... a three-time all-state selection ... All-New England selection in 2004 ... was the runner up at state cross country championships in 2004 ... was a member of the National Honor Society.

PERSONAL
Born May 27, 1987 ... enrolled as a mathematics and computer science major in the College of Arts & Sciences ... the son of David and Kathleen Emerson ... has one brother, Matt.
