As a Junior in 1999: Placed second, behind teammate Colin Wolfe, at the Central Connecticut Invitational (26:46)...Came in 4th overall at the four team-meet between Connecticut, UMass-Amherst, and New Hampshire...Placed third overall at the New England Championships (24:15)...was BC's top performer at the BIG EAST Championships; came in 21st with a time of 25:39...NCAA Distrcit I Qualifier; placed 35th in 31:06.

As a Sophomore in 1998: Won the first meet of the year at the New Hampshire/Connecticut race with a time of 24:43...Traveled to Minnesota's Roy Griak Invitational and Maine's Murray Keating Invitational placing 34th (25:40) and 25th (25:25) respectively...Did not run the rest of the season due to illness.

As a Freshman in 1997: Captured second in the first two meets of the season - a dual meet with Vermont (25:44) and a four-team meet with Connecticut, New Hampshire and Bates (25:14) ... He was the top performer for BC at the BIG EAST Championships and finished 17th of the 118 runners (25:37)...Placed 17th overall at the New England Championships (24:34).

Before BC: Finished fourth at the Penn Relays 3,000 meter championship run as a senior ... An OFSSA Champion at the 1,500 meter and 3,000 meter competitions.

Personal: Born July 27, 1978...Enrolled as an accounting major in the Carroll School of Management...Justin is the second youngest of Sandra and Wayne Burdon's four children.
