Men's Track Competes at the Sam Howell Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Kellen MacDonald highlighted the BC men’s track team performances at the Sam Howell Invitational on Saturday in Princeton, N.J.
The junior qualified for the IC4A Championships with his stellar performance in the 400m hurdles – finishing fourth overall with a career best mark of 53.32.
Seven members of the team tallied the top-seven BC marks of the season in the 800m at the meet this weekend. Collin Fedor (1:54.09), Jack Linehan (1:54.44), and Patrick Daly (1:54.94) led the way with BC’s top-three marks in the event – all three also set personal records with their times in the 800m. Jordan Hamm also checked in with a personal best time of 1:56.23 in the event.
Senior James Glover boasted a collegiate best mark of 9:51.19 in the 3000m steeplechase while five team members tallied personal bests in the 1500m. Tyler King (3:58.27), James Newhouse (3:58.75), Anthony Bellitti (4:00.31), Brian Wolff (4:02.66), and Richard Lucas (4:03.10) all recorded their fastest collegiate times in the event this weekend.
Boston College will return to action on Saturday at the UMass Invitational in Amherst.
