Men's Track & Field Competes at Princeton Sam Howell Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. - Senior Anthony Bellitti finished third in the 1,500-meter run in 3:57.21, crossing the finish line immediately ahead of teammate senior Joseph McConaughy who clocked in fourth at 3:57.62, to highlight Boston College performances at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational from Friday, April 4 to Saturday, April 5 at Princeton University.
Also in the 1,500-meter event, junior Collin Fedor finished sixth in the event with a time of 4:00.65 and junior Patrick Daly recorded a 10th-place finish in 4:02.24.
The Eagles 4x400-meter relay squad of sophomore Burke Ashenden, freshman Darren James, senior Connor O'Neill and senior Jack Hennessy finished sixth in 3:19.68. Pennsylvania won the race, followed by (in order) Southern Connecticut State, Columbia, Yale and Fairleigh Dickinson.
In the 400-meter hurdles, Kellen MacDonald took seventh place with a time of 54.74.
Freshman Obinna Nwankwo finished 19th overall in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.16.
Next, Boston College will compete at the UMass Minuteman Invitational in Amherst, Mass., on Saturday, April 12.
