BOSTON - Junior Jack Linehan took eighth place and scored one point with a time of 2:28.24 in the 1,000-meter IC4A Championship run on Sunday afternoon at Boston University.

Linehan qualified for the finals by running a 2:27.89 in the third section of Saturday's semifinals. The Crested Butte, Colo. native took third place and carried the ninth fastest qualifying time into the field of 10 separated by 3.12 seconds.

Linehan was the only Eagle to compete on the final day of the 2012 IC4A Indoor Championship.
