Six Eagles compete on day one of the conference meet
AS A SENIOR (2011-12) All-New England 10,000m...Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement. XC: Timed in at 27:32.20 in the Iona Meet of Champions (9/17). Indoor T&F: Clocked at 15:23.53 in the 5,000-meter run at the ACC Championship (2/24)...ran a 4:30.91 mile at the BU Valentine Invitational (2/10)...took 11th in the 5k at the BU Terrier Classic (1/27), running 15:04.54...double at the BU Multi-Team Meet (1/19), taking eighth in the 3,000-meter run (9:09.89) and 15th in the Mile (4:26.28)...set a personal record of 9:02.22 in the 3,000-meter run at the Dartmouth Relays (1/8). Outdoor T&F: Earned All-New England honors with an eighth place finish and personal record of 32:01.20 in the 10,000-meter run at the New England Championship (5/12)...doubled at the ACC Championship (4/20-21), running a 15:49.44 in the 5,000 and a 32:54.31 in the 10,000...posted a 15:21.25 in the 5,000-meter run at the Princeton Sam Howell Invitational (4/6)...took sixth in the 5,000 with a season-best time of 15:06.30 at the Raleigh Relays (3/30).
AS A JUNIOR (2010-11) XC: Crushed his PR with a 26:35 at the Mayor's Cup, scoring third for BC ... set a PR at the New England Championship (10/9) with a time of 27:08, coming in as the fourth point scorer in the sub-varsity heat ... opened the season at the Boston College Invitational (9/11), running 27:39 over the 8K course. Indoor T&F:Posted a 9:14.83 in the 3,000m competition at the Jay Carisella Invitational (12/4).

BEFORE BC Concluded career with three school records at St. Charles Prep where he was a seven-time all-league honoree ... earned all-state honors once, all-region twice, and all-district in all four seasons ... ran a 15:53 5k as a senior and a 4:33 1600m as a junior ... elected captain three times.
PERSONAL Born April 26, 1990 ... enrolled in the Carroll School of Management ... youngest of Michael and Amy Shannon's two children.
