Men's Tennis Competes At Brown Invitational

Providence, R.I. - The Boston College men's tennis team played in their second tournament of the 2009-10 season this past weekend at the three-day Brown Invitational.

The Eagles posted a 7-10 singles record during the three day span, and a 4-5 doubles record. The tournament featured three other teams that including the host school Brown University, Georgetown University, and Binghamton University.

A bright spot for the Eagles on the weekend was the emergence of the No. 2 doubles team of Akash Muppidi and Jonathan Schroeder. They went 2-1 in the tournament, and have now played very well in their last two tournaments as a doubles team.

The Eagles are back in action when they travel to Hanover, N.H. to play in the ITA Northeast Regional's on October 16-21.
