CARY, N.C. - 11th-seeded Boston College fell to sixth-seeded Virginia Tech, 4-0, in the first round of the ACC Championship from Cary Tennis Park on Thursday afternoon.
The loss to the Hokies (15-8) ended the season for the Eagles (5-16).
Virginia Tech won two doubles matches before earning three victories in singles to clinch the match.
BC will lose the services of graduating seniors Billy Grokenberger and Klaus Puestow.
