Men's Tennis Drops 7-0 Decision to No. 37 NC State

Boston College won a doubles match but dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 37 NC State on Friday evening at the Dedham Health & Athletic Complex in Dedham, Mass.

The Wolfpack (13-8, 6-3 ACC) won the other two doubles matches to earn the doubles point and swept the Eagles (5-12, 0-7 ACC) in singles competition.

Junior Michael McGinnis and sophomore Philip Nelson teamed to defeat NC State's Robbie Mudge and Thomas Weigel, 8-3, on court No. 2 in doubles to collect BC's only win in the match.

NC State won every singles match in straight sets.

Next, Boston College hosts Wake Forest on Sunday at noon at Regis College in Weston, Mass.
