Men's Tennis Drops to Georgetown, 4-3

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.- The Boston College men's tennis team dropped to Georgetown, 4-3,  in its season opener in Washington, D.C. on Friday, Jan 24.

The Eagles (0-1, 0-0 ACC) won three out of six singles matches and dropped all three doubles matches against the Hoyas of the BIG EAST conference.  

Junior Philip Nelson won on court No. 1 in singles competition while senior captain Jonathan Raude won at the No. 2 spot. Junior Matt Wagner also won his singles match at the No. 6 spot.

No. 2 Jonathan Raude (BC) defeats Shane Korber (GTown) 6-4, 6-1

No. 4 Yannik Mahlangu (GTown) defeats Aiden McNulty (BC) 6-3, 6-3

No. 6 Matt Wagner defeats Andrew Dottino (GTown) 6-3, 6-1

No. 2 Alex Tropiano/Andrew Dottino (GTown) defeats Aiden McNulty/Kyle Childree (BC) 6-3
