Eagles earn fifth sweep of the season

AS A SENIOR (2013-14)
Spring: Competed primarily at the No. 2 spot in singles and at the No. 3 and 2 spots in doubles...won three dual-matches in doubles play (with Philip Nelson)...captured singles wins at dual-matches against Georgetown (1/24), Hartford (2/1), Bryant (2/15), Brown (2/25) and NC Central (4/5)...competed in singles against No. 7 ranked North Carolina (3/28), falling 6-2, 6-2...ACC doubles victories (with Alexander Thirouin) against No. 30 ranked Wake Forest (4/6)...competed in doubles against Georgia Tech (3/21), falling 8-7 (7-3 ACC)...earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Fall: Opened the season with a singles win (3-6, 6-1, 10--7) and two doubles wins (with Matt Wagner), 8-1 and 8-4, to make Quarterfinals at the USTA BJK NTC Men's College Invitational (9/20-21)...tallied three singles match wins at the Army Shootout (10/5)...won 6-1, 6-4 in singles at the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championship (10/17-18)...at the FGCU Fall Open (10/25-27), won in singles against No. 3 ranked Barry University and won in doubles (with Alexandre Thirouin) against No. 3 ranked Barry University and No. 59 ranked U of Arkansas).

AS A JUNIOR (2012-13)
Spring: Compiled a 4-9 record in dual-match singles play and a 2-3 (1-0 ACC) mark in dual-match doubles competition ... missed the latter portion of the season with an injury ... won on doubles court No. 2, 8-4, with Matt Wagner against Clemson (3/24) ... picked up singles wins against Hartford (2/23), Sacred Heart (2/2), and Bryant (2/1) ... earned victories in singles (6-3, 7-6 at No. 2) and doubles (8-4 at No. 3 with Klaus Puestow) in season opener vs. SNHU (1/26) ... won two matches in doubles at the Harvard Invitational (1/18-20) ... earned the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Fall: Went 7-13 overall with a 4-8 mark in singles and a 3-5 record in doubles ... picked up two wins in singles play at the Seahawk Invitational (11/2-4) ... tallied a win in singles competition at the ITA Northeast Regional (10/18-23) ... earned two victories in doubles action at the Brown Invitational (10/5-6) ... won one match in singles play at the Princeton Invitational (9/14-16).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2011-12)
Spring: Compiled a 5-15 singles record and a 1-3 doubles record ... tallied key wins over Brandeis's David Yovanoff (4/15), 6-3, 6-1, in the No. 2 position, Dartmouth's Brandon DeBot (4/1), 0-6, 6-4, 6-4, in the No. 4 position and Villanova's Tim Abbraciamento (3/8), 6-2, 6-4, in the No. 4 position ... earned a double victory with freshman Philip Nelson on the second court over Hartford's Mike Kennelly and Josh Isaacson (2/12), 8-4 ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Fall: Went 1-1 at the Brown Classic (9/30-10/1) in single action ... also picked up a win at the USTA Billie Jean King NTC Men's College Invitational (9/23-25) ... earned three doubles victories during the tournament season with three different partners.

AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
Spring: Played 26 singles matches, going 10-12 for the season ... picked up three conference wins by defeating Andy Magee of Maryland (2/23), 6-2, 4-6, 7-5, Gerardo Meza of Clemson (4/3), 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, and Julian Sullivan of NC State (4/17), 6-3, 7-5 ... recipient of the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement ... named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll.
Fall: Went 3-1 at the USTA/ITA Division I Northeast Regional Championship (10/14-16), reaching the Round of 64 ... advanced to the quarterfinals of the Crimson Tide Fall Championship (11/5-7).

BEFORE BC
Played for Benjamin Cardozo High School in Bayside, N.Y. ... was ranked as high as No. 8 in the Eastern Section Boys U-18 and No. 72 nationally on tennisrecruiting.net ... team captain as a junior and senior ... winner of the Public School Athletic League (PSAL) Heisman Wingate Award (2010) ... completed high school with an astonishing 54-3 record over four years .... posted a 14-1 record en route to winning the Mayor's Cup Individual Title ... went 14-1 winning the PSAL Singles Title as a junior ... was a 2009 semifinalist at the NYS Individual Tournament ... went undefeated (13-0) as a freshman at No. 3 singles for the New York City PSAL champions ... reached the PSAL individual finals and was a back-draw finalist in the NYSPHSAA individual tournament as freshman.
