M. Swimming Loses a Nail-Biter to Georgetown

WASHINGTON, D.C.- Boston College Men's Swimming suffered their first loss of the season to the Georgetown Hoyas this past weekend in the nation's capital. The final score of the meet was 151.5 -147.5.
The Outstanding Eagles of the meet were Juniors Nick Henze and Andrew Stranick. Henze won the 100 yard Freestyle with a time of 47.26. He also came in second in the 200 yard Freestyle, being edged out by under a second. Stranick took home two first place finishes in the 100 and 200 yard Breaststroke.
BC Women's Swimming fell to the Hoyas 162.5 to 135.5. Outstanding Eagle of the meet goes to Senior Kathryn Oskar who took first place on the 3 meter dive with a score of 205.15. Outstanding Performance of the meet goes to Sophomore Maureen Barron who once again came in first in the 50 yard Freestyle with a time of 24.86
Boston College Men's and Women's teams both hit the water next against Keene State this Thursday at 3pm in Chestnut Hill.
