M. Swimming Dominates Bryant in Season Opener

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - Boston College Men's Swimming dominated their season opener against Bryant this past weekend, 165-92. The men took first place in 11 out of the 14 races against the Bulldogs. Two of the most notable races for the Eagles were the 200 and 500 yard freestyle, in which the men took the top three spots in both races. Sophomore Drew Cuttic and Junior Nick Henze had powerful performances, each taking first place in two separate events.

Boston College Women's swimming fell to the Bulldogs in a close one, 139-123. The women's team placed first in six of fourteen events. Maureen Barron provided another dominant performance with wins in the 50 and 100 yard freestyle events.

Boston College Men's Swimming will be in action this weekend in the Northeast Catholic Invite on Friday and Saturday.
