Men's Swimming Takes Third at DCI

HANOVER, NH—Boston College Men’s Swimming and Diving placed third in this past weekend’s Dartmouth College Invite. The team totaled 658 points, trailing the University of Massachusetts and Dartmouth, tallying 825.5 and 1274 points respectively.

Sophomore Dan Kelly carried the team once again with another stellar performance in the 50 yard freestyle with a time of 20.90, edging out Dartmouth’s Daniel Whitcomb with a time of 21.18. The Eagles also received an impressive performance from freshman Cole Malatesta. Malatesta finished second in the 3 mtr diving event with a final score of 285.80 and earned the men’s team 17 points.

Boston College Women’s team came in fourth place out of six this weekend. The Eagles received a total of 364 points, falling behind Dartmouth, Northeastern, and UMass.

Both teams look forward to taking on Comm. Ave. rival Boston University this Friday in Chestnut Hill at 5 pm.
