M. Swimming Wins at Tufts

MEDFORD, Mass. - The men's swimming and diving team defeated Tufts 205-146 in an away meet on Tuesday and improved to 18-2 on the season.

Freshman Dan Kelly and sophomore Nick Henze led the Eagles to victory and won three races each. Kelly touched the wall first in the 50 yard freestyle and was part of the winning 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay teams. Henze registered individual wins in both the 200 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle and was also part of the winning 200 yard freestyle relay.

The Eagles won 12 of the 19 total events, including two by senior diver Marty Long (one meter and three meter dives) and two by junior Sean Murphy (100 and 50 yard backstroke).

The Eagles will be back in action January 25 at Dartmouth.
