BEFORE BC:
Matt has lettered all four years at Vista Del Lago High School where he has been named to all-league multiple times and all-city in 2012. He holds his schools 200 Freestyle record and is a part of the record breaking 400 Freestyle relay. He earned the "High Point Male Athlete" award in 2012. Besides High School Swim, Matt also swims for the Sierra Marlins (a year-round team in Folsom, CA) where he is a Grand Prix qualifier and a member of the elite senior group.

From Folsom, CA. He is the son of Marlene Zerweck and Randall Felkel. In Folsom, Matt swims for the Sierra Marlins Swim Team (SMST).
